Watching Stephen Harper being interviewed by Peter Mansbridge. Harper is putting forward a reasoned argument in defense of his economic policies. Dion has a lot of explaining to do to justify to Canadians why another tax will be beneficial and in my opinion has not succeeded. I feel confident with Harper who is a trained economist and with the positives of the Canadian economy with a surplus of 3 billion and the creation of 100000 net new jobs as well as the strongest banking system. I know that I've talked a lot about the democratic deficit with respect to the nomination. But my loyalties remain to the conservative party.
My fundamental views and policies have not changed. The conservative government led by Stephen Harper presents the most coherent option to Canadians. The views of that party continue to be in line with my own.
